Manager of Environmental Programs, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority 

Andrea is an experienced environmental professional in environmental assessment, project management and coordination, design and implementation of baseline studies, negotiation and consultation with agencies, design and implementation of follow-up monitoring plans, and scientific research. Andrea’s research can be found in numerous peer-reviewed science and ecology journals. 

As an Environmental Specialist at Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, Andrea is responsible for completing environmental reviews of proposed projects within the Port of Vancouver.

Previously, as a project manager at Stantec, Andrea assisted clients in a variety of sectors (including residential development, oil and gas, ports, and wind energy) develop projects that meet environmental regulations. The majority of that work was on provincial and federal environmental assessments for projects in BC.  Her regulatory expertise is on environmental assessments under BCEAA and CEAA and her technical expertise is with migratory birds. 

Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology from Simon Fraser University and is a Registered Professional Biologist.
